can freeview tuner DVR record analogue sources

    Hello everybody. :hiya: I have a question, can any/all freeview tuner equipped DVR's also record from analogue ssources e.g. VHS VCR, sky box? Thanks in advance, Baz K

    If you mean the Freeview ones with HDD but no DVD recorder then I am afraid none of them do. :thumbsdow
    I believe the new Panasonic HHD/DVD recorders have a freeview tuner and an analogue one and I presume they record from external analogue (and digital) sources but its not kit I know much about; someone else might be along to give more details on this kit; hopefully.
    I know its not cheap.

    thanks for the info, Richard, but I think I'll stick with my Thomson DTH7000 for a while. Although it's not very widescreen friendly.
