I have a kef coda S it's 100w active and for the cash it's great about £200 but I know HYPER-FI did have them at a special price, dont know if they have any left but it's worth a call. Also i've heard that the IPL sub kit that you build yourself is leathal it's less than £300. Find it in the back of HCC mag. Check the photo of the Kef sub on my site

Try the Paradigm PDR-10 from Richer Sounds.

Buy the kit from iplacoustics this will cost
less than £300 and is excelent and simple to make. It must be because I made it. IPL claim it is as good as subs above £700.

That's the one and is easy to put together cause I built one too.For £285 all in it's more than a bargain and you can finish it any way YOU like. I'm seriously thinking about getting 4 avr2's and the avc 2 from Ivan, he's upgrading the tweeters begining of June, prob £250ish a pair, speakers that is, but I'm not 100% sure whether to go for these as rears or buy some bi-pole/di-pole instead as these will be just behind me 5ft either side.. any takers anyone.

    Philmate.

Yup thats the one. The best suprise for me was how good a finish you can get with the iron on veneer. The real wood finish is better than most commercial plasticy finishes

    apart from www.iplacoustics.co.uk

Is that woofer shielded? if not how far away does it have to be from the tv?

EDIT: No they are shielded (i phoned the guy).
