Can anyone hazzard a guess at the value of this linn set-up?

Hi, i have a linn speaker set-up that i, sort of, inherited. I'm trying to decide whether to replace my B&Ws with it or sell it - nice dilema i know. Anyway i have 5 Linn Sekrit inwall speakers and a Sizmic sub (a custom install one i.e. it is put directly in a wall and doesn't come in a cabinet).

But... there are a few issues. the speakers were set in a wall and painted over to match - in navy blue... so surround and grill is now navy blue. I know you can buy new grills and facias but they are expensive. The bit of MDF that comes with the sub for mounting it was damaged on removal so it needs either a new one from Linn (extortinate i'd imagine) or a new one making up at home or by a carpenter (cheap). It's just basically a hole routed in a square of MDF.

Bearing all that in mind, how much would you think it's worth? Had they been a set of linn Hi-Fi speakers I'd definatley have kept them but as i don't even have a home audio set-up it seems pointless to keep these.

Replys along the lines of 'about a tenner - i'll send you a cheque' anticipated...

    many thanks,
    B.

Linn Sekrits are EXCELLENT in wall speakers. Worth every penny. I'd think you should be able to sell them for £75 to £100 each. Someone can repaint them.

Sizmik...well...it's a good custom instal product but whereas Sekrit is a good speaker I am not sure we can class Sizmik as a good sub...in fact I think they are taking poetic licence with the name....

These products are ideal for custom installation like they appear to be in this situation. I suspect it'll be a hassle to replace your current system with them. Best to try to sell them on.
