I hav tried to do a search on yahoo but had to download programes. I did have a site a while back where I did not have to download anything it would just scan my computer for trojans and also try to hack in to my computer to see how safe it was.
I can not remember the site as it was a while ago and have re-installed my hard drive since then. Can anyone recomend me a few programes please.

I'd recommend everybody to download 'stinger.exe' from www.nai.com

    http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger

it's the best worm/trojan removal tool out there, and is a free download at <700kb

It's a standalone .exe, so you can keep it on a floppy and use it on any PC you wish without having to install anything.

I'm in the industry, and trust me you don't get better than this product..

Trend Micro offer a free service called "Housecall" which impressed me greatly when it successfully identified 2 trojans that had got onto my machine.

My NAV auto-protect had indicated that a trojan had been detected but it could not deal with it, even with updated NAV definitions nothing was picked up on a full system scan, yet the "housecall" service picked them up for free!

I actually dont think i will bother renewing my subscription to Norton, I dont see the point.

    Here's the link http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp
