    is it true you should never site your plasma above a fire as looked at some of the pics of peeps setups on here and a few have done just that can anyone help b4 l make this mistake ? :confused:

    Tho this is a fine location if Prescott is on news24 at the time....

    Seriously, as you see, many people do this, and it's fine as long as you are not smelting iron in the fireplace. If it's a real fire, I'd be cautious, not very controllable heat wise. If it feels a bit hot, you can't just turn it down. Most gas and electric fires are fine, a good solid mantelpiece helps. The cables can be problematic, you must not crack the flue, or let the cables melt.

    lt will be a flueless fire that l will be using think these circulate the heat inside the actual fire :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
