Can Anybody Name This Old British Prison Film?

Well-known Member
I haven't seen this film since I was a kid (mid 70s!) and the only scene I can remember (which was quite harrowing at the time and has stuck in my mind ever since) was one of the inmates having boling hot water deliberatley thrown over him by another (baddie) inmate or warder for punishment, i think.
I'm not sure but I think the baddie inmate/warder with the hot water picked out his victim from a line up of several inmates.

I'm sure it was British, B&W and from the 50s or 60s.

It sounds like it's from The Hill, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't this as I have seen this film a few years ago and i'm sure it was a normal civilian prison and not a military one.

Any ideas?

They missed one film of there at least McVicar.

I seem to remember some TV program where some guy gets scolding hot water thrown on his legs in the lundry room.
