I have £300 and would like a DVDr that is good enough for playback of DVD's on a Panasonic 42PV500 also I wish to use the component input of plasma for xbox and DVI or HDMI for DVD so is this wise ? And can I get a DVDr that outputs to DVI or HDMI ?

Hope you can help as wife is going mad waiting for me to take plunge and buy one!

    Cheers All

Saw the Samsung DVD-R125 today in Comet.
It's a recorder (sleek looking may I add) with HDMI output and Divx. £229.
