OK, here's the situation, I'm currently running XP, and I have all my media stored on a seperate HDD. I'm going to create another partition on the same drive as the existing XP installation and install MCE 2005 onto it. Will this new partition be able to 'see' files from the first XP installation and the media files on the 2nd HDD?

Thanks

There seems to be a number of computer related posts appearing here in General Chat so I'd just like to point out that there is a dedicated forum for these sort of questions.

Yes you will be able to see all the files etc but obviously you won't be able use any of the programs installed on the XP system unless you install them again on the MCE partition.
