Can’t decide on which one to buy, LG OLED b8 55” because it’s quite a low price for an OLED, LG OLED c8 55 because it’s within my budget or Sony XF9005 65 because the size and it within my budget again. TV source is sky Q HD and UHD, Netflix HD/UHD. No game to be used on it.

Was going to go for the XF9005 55” but after seeing and comparing it with OLEDs I changed my mind but now I just can’t make my mind up. So what would you go for and any comments are most welcomed.

All 3 are great tv's, the oleds will be better if you watch in a mainly dark room as that's where they shine the most, not that they are poor with light in the room either mind you, I don't think you'd be disappointed with either of your choices and the b8 is great value for the price it can be had for

If you wait a little longer the 65” B8 will probably drop to c£1500.

What’s your viewing environment like? Distance? Do you view head on? View in dark??

About 2m head on, blinds at window so if it’s sunny I can close them. Never thought of the LG OLED b8 65”

What's the difference between the B8 and C8, apart from price?

C8 has a newer processor. V little between them when it comes to picture quality.

Reviews here scored the B8 9, C8 got 10. It’s marginally better but for most not worth the premium over the B8.

I'm looking at 65" and that's quite a price difference. Over £600 as far as I can tell. I guess the B8 might even come down a bit more when 2019 models are released?

55” was £999 recently, and some got the 65” for £1500 around Black Friday. It should drop to that level around April/May as new ones come along.

Just go for OLED. As i mentioned in other thread, these new TV's VA viewing angles are so bad, that from older FullHD screens you have more viewing pleasure (exept HDR ofc).
It is enough just stand off from sofa and half of contratcs and colors are lost.
Also x900f has poor wi-fi card, i coudl nto stream youtube 4k withotu issues as i was able to do it properly on my B7..
