So we're doing a couple of nights camping this year , kids are at the age they fancy it.

Any overall tips etc?

We're heading towards Tenby / The Gower .

Not local to Tenby but certainly near enough to enjoy a day out there. Plenty to do in and around Tenby. The beaches are fantastic. You can catch a boat from Tenby harbour to Caldy Island. Folly Farm is just outside Tenby and there quite a lot of activity centres, all of the attractions have fliers printed and are easily picked up.

The Gower is all about the beaches, worth visiting simply for their magnificience. The biggest beaches are Rhosilli, Oxwich and Port Eynon. Park right on the beach at Oxwich and at low tide you can walk to see the stunning beauty of Three Cliffs Bay. Popular beaches with amenities are Langland and Caswell. The Mumbles has good places to eat and for shopping.
