The old water tower on Cammo Estate Edinburgh

I'm going to have to come back to this as I'm not sure about the central composition, and it doesn't instantly strike me as moody.
I know what you mean about the central composition thats why I purposley composed this with the path leading to and away from the tower to break that rule. It works for me but we are all different as for not feeling moody if thats your take on it then perhaps this has failed to project what I see on to you.
That's the beauty of 'art', always open to interpretation. As I said though, I need to come back to it a few times before I make my mind up on it. I think I really like it, just not 100% sure yet
I think it looks pretty moody. As above, the central composition isn't that great but thats all thats wrong with it. Looks like a great location.
I've decided that I mainly really like this. My 'gripe' is not with the central composition per se, but that it's not quite central. For me it either needed to follow the rule of thirds or be bang central. Apart from that it's a very nice image.
Great shot and looks moody to me.
No issues with composure either.
I really like this, think it fits the theme well
Really like this, I think it is bang on theme and I like the composition, I like that the river leads you up to the tower
Didn't know that was there. My brother lives just along the road...will check it out when next up. Nice work
Interesting shot ,feels moody to me and the comp looks pretty balanced to me
The Estate is well worth a look around Gordon
