I am looking for a replacement battery for my Sony DSCF505V camera, which takes a NP-FS11 Li-ion battery.

Any idea where might be a good place to obtain one ? other than a Sony centre.

    Cheers, Lee

I can recommend a guy on eBay who ships original Sony batteries from Hong Kong. My NP-FC11 battery cost £15 including postage - do a search for 'NP-FC11 from seller 'the-battery'. I also bought a battery charger from him, and an original case for next to nothing from someone else in HK.

Watch out for different battery specs - the NP-FC11 is 780mAh, whereas the uniRoss one listed by the battery force is only 630mAh. Plus I'm not sure if all 3rd party batteries have the 'info' feature - ie to tell the camera how much juice is left.
