    Hi all,

I have been looking for a new camera and have been told the following are pretty good:

    Minolta z1
    Pentax Optio S4

Just wondered if there was anything else I shoul be looking at in the £250 - £400 price range?

Not to worried about what features as long as it is easy to use and takes good pictures (is there anything new and interesting feature wise I should be looking at??)

    Thanks!

I bought an Olympus C-750 10x optizoom and 4mpix. I chose it as it had the best reviews for an ultrazoom. It was £302 delivered from pixel mania plus £35 for a 128mb xD card.

PS I think it's excellent - nice metal body and light too.

Other condenders were the Kodak DX6490 which I turned down due to excessive compression and no manual focus, and the HP Photosmart 850 which I rejected as it switches it's view finder off in burst mode and has bad artefacts in the pictures.

Check out http://www.dcresource.com/ and look at the reviews.

I bought a Casio Exilim 3.2 MP for my holiday last year. It's super
slim & easily fits into a trouser pocker. Also has 2" LCD.

Very good choice, I have an A80, I am jealous of your compact size and lithium battery!
