Greetings great and powerful video gurus!!

I'm looking to purchase a new digital camcorder, but would like to get one that supports USB 2 so I don't have to buy another card (firewire) for my computer.

I've tried searching the net and can't find any mention of new cameras coming out supporting the new USB format.

Does anyone know of any and when they'll be available?

    Thanks!!

I would of thought that there will be few, with manufactures being dedicated to the firewire connection, especially with the newer, faster firewire boasting 3gig per second that should be availabe next year.

Well, you're probably right. I just thought if I don't have to buy another card then I could put the extra 50 -100 towards the camera.

    Thanks for the info!
