    Hi Folks,
Can anyone tell me if there are any camcorders out there with VIDEO IN function? I had an old sharp with this function.

I fly R/C helicopters and need it to take the feed from a wireless camera I have installed in the cockpit which sends the signal to a reciever on the ground which is in turn plugged into a camcorder to record the footage.

Hope someone can help. I'd prefer and entry level camcorder but realise this function may only be available on more expensive models.

    Thanks for your help.

There are plenty of Camcorders with a video-in though I'm not sure whether these include budget models.
Take a look at the feature list of the Camcorders reviewed at
    www.whatcamcorder.net and www.camuser.co.uk.

Most of the budget camcorders will not have their AV-in enabled as the good old EU charge extra TAX for this feature  hence pushing up the price.
Some camcorders can be hacked to enable the inputs, but these are getting more difficault to find as the EU crack down on this.
If you search these forums for 'widgets' you will find several posts from me and others about them and links to where to get the info. Just might save a few £££
