Do manufacturers give us what THEY want? It should be what we need . . . but is it?
Can others here suggest an "ideal" camcorder . . . . that it has a stab and long-ish zoom, a good-size sensor, excellent audio with external facilities.
However, I wonder that we really need all the fancy extras they provide . . . whereas I'd prefer a decent Manual Option for focus - yet what we get is an indeterminate Ring -or- Touch-screen - and neither allows for slight adjustments as the scene "moves-on" ( Er, in my experience of many camcorders ).
Also, why does minor Zooming require a fresh hand-position?
Is a Camcorder better than DSLR?
All the indications are that it is, since DSLRs are built the same way a BoxBrownie was configured . . . . i.e. convenience in moving the roll-film past the lens. Was it really so perfect it needed no change?
Thoughts folks, please . . . .
