Camcorder settings for Samsung SGH-G600

I am wanting to know the best video and sound setting to set my Samsung SGH-G600 mobile to, I am wanting to record clips at a concert I'm going to on friday also would covering the mic part of the phone with wool or something improve the sound, e.g muffle the sound of the crowd to get the best sound output of the group i'm going to see??

I also want to know the best picture settings for;

Samsung SGH-D500 and SGH-E900
