I've recorded footage of my wedding from a camcorder onto a DVD+RW with a phillips DVD recorder (Philips DVDR610). Anyhow that all went fine, but I planned to make copies of this dvd via my PC to give to family & friends. Unfortunately this part won't work.

I am attempting to copy the DVD+RW onto a DVD-R and have tried standard DVD burning software (using VIDEO_TS & AUDIO TS folders), DVD Shrink & DVD X Copy, but none of these produce a copy which will play on a DVD player.

Can somone advise on a method for achieving what I am intending.
Is there a conflict with the differing DVD formats possibly?

No reason why it shouldn't work, although most people use Nero for making simple direct copies.

What discs and player is this that you are testing the copies on?
