I live in Basildon in Essex and I was wondering if there are any local courses to learn how to use a video camera, in particular a digital video camera. I'd prefer one on one personal tuition rather than class based, but I'd settle for either.
In around a months time I'm going to be going to Russia to take some interview type videos of some of the ladies on our site (http://www.bluesapphires.net). Although I'm fairly familiar with camcorders in general, I have had no formal teaching of this, and I'm a little concerned how the videos will come out. I've taken some nice holiday videos in my time, as well as three wedding ones and have use a camcorder for some seven years now. I think I can do quite a good job, but I'd like to have some practice with someone who could give me some tips on what I'm doing correctly and what I'm doing wrong.
Does anyone know of camcorder courses available in Essex, preferable near Basildon, or individuals who could spend a while teaching me what I need to know. Thanks for your help.
