    I need some help guys.

I brought a Cannon MV940 a couple of weeks ago and I have a problem. I done a little bit of filming and thought I would load it onto my computer via it's USB cable but guess what! I can't get the video through and my computer is not recognising the new hardward. I loaded on all the software that has been supplied and it just doesn't work.

    Any suggestions.

have you tried firewire connection mate?

its what everyone uses to transfer video from camcorder to PC!

    you will need a 4pin to 6pin one, about £1.50 from ebuyer.com

you need a firewire connection on your PC though

biggy7 is right, you need to use firewire, the usb connection on you camera can only be used to transfer data from the digital card (SD I think), it does work for DV
