    Hi All

I have a Canon MV700i which I want to use as a webcam. The only problem I have is that it shuts off automatically after a few minutes. Does anyone know how to prevent this?

    Thanks

I don't know your particular camera but with many digital camcorders leaving the tape access door open usually over-rides the auto shut off function.

you can disable the auto power off in the VCR/system menu, remove the tape and run that baby off the mains
