    Hi All,

Can anyone tell me if there is currently a DVD to which I can transfer my Digital 8 footage to disk and as I have collected a lot of VHS tapes over the years would the same DVD transfer the tapes to disk. Some idea of the price would help also if there is such a machine.

    Many thanks,

All of the desktop DVD recorders will be able to do this from Philips, Panasonic etc. Prices from around £200
All the recordes will have AV (analogue) inputs, and some even have DV in.
If you want to do this on the PC then anyDVD recorder and an analogue capture device from Dazzle, Pinnacle, Belkin etc (normally USB 2.0) or any DV card will do the job. Prices from around £100 for analogue or £20 for DV.

    Mark.
