Cambridge DVD89 - Divx in 16:9?

Can anyone confirm wether this unit fills the screen with divx/mpeg4 files i.e. it doesn't play in a small window as per the Denon 1920.

Yes, it will play 16:9 DivX files through the HDMI output.

Blame Cambridge Audio for that one. The chipset is more than capable of MP3 playback.

MP3 playback is possible. The support mode have to be set to "ON".
Press Setup
Go to speaker setup
Press 9,2,1,0 from remote
Set support mode "On"

has the shifting issue been resolved (picture squeeze top and bottom) when using HDMI (i.e bottom black band double the size of the top black band)??

I don't tempt fate on things like that . Sometimes very complicated things are turned around really fast on other occasions, simple things take forever to sort.
