    Hello,

I have recently received a cambridge digital radio for christmas and was wondering whether the onboard DAC would provide a good sound when the radio is connected to an audio amp using regular analog cables?

Or in your opinion do you think a better sound could be had by connecting it using the digital out socket to an amp that has a DAC capability?

    Kind regards,

    James

    Whats your stereo amp?

Its won several reviews, and the 24-bit 192 kHz DAC has been given high praise. Unless you stereo amp is of Rotel/Arcam/Cyrus quality I would suggest connecting the dab300 using analogue...

If possible though, try both and guage what you think sounds better...
