Hi all.. finally got a component lead going from my Camb. Audio DVD55 player into my BenQ 6100, and held my breath & pressed progressive scan on the DVD remote. The 1 NTSC DVD I have plays well.. much much better than using the long S-Video cable I have. But the player refuses to output PAL progressive; the standards options read NTSC & is greyed out (unselectable) so all PAL disks look blocky as converted to 480 lines?!!!!

any pointers I should try guys ?

    regards, Ed

There should be an upgrade disc floating around RS stores that cures this, if they don't have it I am sure that they will get on the blower to AP for one.

I have the same problem. Cambridge DVD55 but NTSC only. Has anyone seen anything of an upgrade or similar for this? Everything shows as NTSC on the player, and my PJ (Infocus X1) shows 480dpi.

How do we get PAL on the Cambridge DVD55?

    Cheers
