Hi all

i whipped out my av receiver and set it up recently.
My set up:
CA 540R receiver v2.0
B&W DM 603 S3 main speakers
B&W LCR 60 centre
B&W DM601 S3 surrounds.
Mordaunt short ms40 subwoofer

i am getting full sound out of all channels via the test tone so they are wired up right.
when I select DSP it works fine too.
However, when i play a movie via the PS5 or do a 5.1 test on you tube, I dont get any sound out of the rears and the subwoofer.
I have selected the Neo PLII option and the fronts and centre sound great. However, when the youtube test video selects rears, the sound will come out of the front. There is no sound in this option from the LFE channel also.

Gaming is the same, no subwoofer or rears.

is there a specific setting I need to select to ensure the sound comes out properly in 5.1 mode?
Not too sure what I am missing...

please help

Do you have the PS set to output bitstream?

You Tube is stereo only. Always has been so unless your upmixers are engaged you'll just get a stereo output.

Ps5 is connected to the tv via hdmi. The amp to the tv via optical...settings in ps5 only allow me to select what the ps5 is connected to.
