Help - I'm doing a wedding on the cheap next weekend. I'm borrowing 2 Cambridge Audio A3 amps to drive 2 sets of speakers in 2 different locations. As the mixer has only one line out, is it possible to daisy-chain the two amps together using the Rec Out sockets, as I can't see that there are any pre-out sockets on the rear panel. I think Rec Out is usually used for MiniDisc connections. Will the volume on the first amp have any bearing on the second amp?

Couldn't you just buy a socket doubler and put that over the mixer output and then send one set of cables to each amp. So have a plug over the L & R so that you have 2 L outputs and 2 R outputs?

A couple of quid each from Maplins.

It's not exactly an exciting solution but it would do the job?
