Hi, am building a new extension which will be the new lounge....

Looking to buy the Cambridge Audio 640R with Mordant Short Speakers and use biwire cable.

    1) Can this amp use biwire cable ?? (Probably a stupid question, but I don't know)
    2) If I have 1 hdmi cable to the tv will I be able to plug a hdmi cable into the amp for the sky hd and hdmi dvd player (What I am looking at will there be any losing signal than going direct from the sky hd direct to the tv ??)
    3) I can't see a sub-woofer output on the back of the unit. (I assume it has one)

    Thanks in advance
    Mark

    1. Yes (but doing a rain dance will have similar performance gains)
    2. There shoudn't be any difference - but this also depends on the over length & quality of the HDMI cables used (overall = cable from dvd-to-amp plus amp-to-tv) shorter = better
    3. Yes it does - looking at the amp from the back, it's on the right, in the section "7.1 Preamp Out" and it's labelled "SW"

BTW: This is a super amp - power monster (for the money!)
