I'm just wondering if it's possible to have my cambridge audio azur 540D connected to the tv by both component and scart leads at the same time so that I can switch between the two if I want - will it cause any problems?

Also, I've read that this player is multi-region. It doesn't mention this in the instructions, does anyone know if it is? And if it is, how does it deal with RCE DVDs?

    Thanks.

It is multi-region right out of the box. Mine has no problems with RCE discs, but I live in region 1. As great a player as it is, the instruction manual is pretty thin on helpful info. You have to experiment to discover all it can do. No SCART on this side of the pond, though, so I can't help you there.

Thanks, just tried it out with an RCE region 1 DVD and it worked perfectly. :D
