There still seems to be very little information about the cambridge reciever on the internet in the UK at the moment.

But maybe someone on the forums has got one.

I am also looking for a review on that A/V. And i can't find any. Anyway i'm about to get one of those (already decided) so i'll post my opinions (pros and cons) as soon as i "test" it. It might help someone decide.

One i thing i know: if you favor looks, the amp is beautiful!;) ;)

Tons of fun, are you happy with your 540D?

Musically speaking, does it perform well?

Well it is better built, offers better CD and DVD-A performance and a completely identical (on SCART) picture to my older Pioneer DV656 so yes I guess I am. I must stress that mine was free (Cambridge is a sister company to MS) and obviously this must be taken into account. It is totally region free out of the box as well which is nice :). Currently I'm using it with a Sony STRDA3000ES and overall sound performance is strong. It isn't gold either (like the Sony) so that's another bonus.
