Cambelt change - Mondeo 2.0i GLX 71k miles

I drive a Mondeo 2.0i GLX (2000 reg) with 71k miles on the clock.
I assume that now would be a good time to get the cambelt changed ?
I will be getting a quote off my local garage soon, how much should I expect this to cost ? Is there anything else that its worth doing at the same time ?

They might recommend water pump gets replaced at same time.
If you source the parts through them, with their mark up, I cant see much less than £300 all in.
You'd be able to get a water pump and belt kit for £100 on the internet yourself though.

Your car is a 2000 reg and you haven't yet had the cambelt changed?

I would get this done ASAP, you are 4 years overdue!!
