The time has come - a plasma is on the cards.

I originally intended the "budget" (Tiny, Techwood) route, but these forums have persuaded me to go Panasonic! The av-sales deal looks great.

There is a cost issue here that I must get past my financial advisor and so will need to claw back some expenses. Please could you let me have your views on the following:

    Connections:
-Get a Panny TH42PWD6 With Scart Board
-Use the component feed from my dvd player via a component to vga cable. Connect dvd to plasma vga feed.
-Get a decent scart splitter box for sky/vcr/etc. Connect box to plasma scart feed.
    Will this work?

    Wall Hangers
We have a little one who like leaning against the tv so it will have to be tilt/wall mounted. I noticed on a thread a link to some very cheap wall brackets (circa £30-£40). Are these any good? I don't want my new tv landing on the floor!

    Sound
Finally, does the panny have a built in amp? I don't really want to have to get another HC amp as the wife is not keen on wires/speakers/noise etc

    Thanks
