    Hi All,

I should in the next few weeks be in posession of a lovely shiney new PMA400....problem is I need a stand, and I need to make one in mahagony although thats not the problem, what I need to know is, what diameter exactly are those vertical poles that slide into the PMA from the table stand? how far do they go into the Screen? and exactly how far apart are they through the centres?
and of course what is the locking mechanism that keeps the poles in the Screen....bolts, clips, friction or luck?

The upright poles will of course be made in metal.

    Best regards David

I've got mine in september and still I havent got a decent stand.
If you get one, that is not wall mounted, let me know where did you find it and how much does it cost please :)

btw: I refused to spend more than £100 for a stand, no matter what it holds, even if it was holding £4234324372423478932 billions equipment a stand is a stand... :)

zioceto, I will actually be making it myself, it need to match my existing furniture so will be Mahagony base plate with alluminuim or steel uprights similar to the official hitachi table top stand, thats why I was asking if anyone in here has the stand and can pass on the dimensions I need as they are unavailable on the Hitachi website.

    Best regards David

I think most people with a PMA400E have them wall mounted (including me) that's all.
