I have now been called to sort out a couple of issues on specifically the BG808s (not the BD808s or the BG/D808)

With the PC connected showing an avarage picture with some high lights, mid tones and blacks. does the picture fluctuate in brightness?

The best way to show it is to leave the brightness setting where it is and turn the contrast right down .

Described by one person like the light from a candle in the wind shining on the screen. (bit poetic for me but it's a good decription)

I'm just curious at this stage.

I particulary would like to hear from people who get this on a Cine 8.

and from tall leggy blondes with BG808s projectors in general - (er girls only please)
    :)

Mine seems fine. I did have an issue with dark scenes changing but I traced it to WinDVD, since I got TT everything is fantastic.

    Mine is a BG808s isn't it?

I'll try some stuff tonight if I get chance, see if I can recreate it!

    Nick

Easiet was to tell is to look in the service menu, select 'identification' that will tell you the model (and serial number too).

I'm just colating info at the moment.

Nick Whilst you fit the leggy bit you are missing the rest.:p

Hey Roland, You should have told me you liked leggy blonds when you came down. We have a good little whorehouse over the road LOL

Perv. I'll tell your wife next time you're out on a job (or even on the job)

Watched Batman last night, which is pretty mid to Dark, and I didn't get any problems.

    Roland,

Do you know of any tall, leggy blondes who own BG808s's? I get the impression Home sinema is a bit of a male oriented passtime(obsession?)!
