Caller display problem - N8

I have a strange problem when someone calls my phone, in that the name/number doesn't display; it just shows as "call 1".
I've tried using phone and sim memory individually, and both at the same time to no avail.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix it?

Sorry - forgot to update.
I found that setting display contacts & default saving as "phone memory" cleared it up.

Orange told me to only save contacts and display to the sim, but then you can't have your favourite contacts widget without the phone memory.
I tried this before & it didn't work, but now it does, so fingers crossed
