    Understatement of the centruy!

The first COD game i played was 2 and was blown away by it, although it pales in comparison to 4 its still a great game with some excellent set pieces. I completed it on normal and im now attempting it again on veteran (in betweeen COD4 of course!), you can get it for around £10 second hand so go and buy it!

Both 2 and 3 where very good games in their time but I reckon if you went back and played them now after playing COD4 they just wouldnt measure up.

They are both available really cheap though so not a lot to lose by trying them. COD2 had the slightly better single player and COD3 had the slightly better online. Get them on veteran (that goes for COD4 too) though to enjoy them to their full potential.

COD2 is a classic and I would happily play through it again, if you've never played it then get it you won't be disappointed.

Can't say I feel the same love for COD3, I thought it was a terrible single player game, to many bugs and not as solid.

I would say there were more tough sections that hold you up in COD2 but you didn't have timer restrictions so you could take your time, I don't remember any as frustrating as no fighting in the war room.

well as long as there are no super soldiers like moh airborn that take about 20 shots to kill.

well i just completed cod2 to go along with my completion of cod4 and believe me cod2 is easily the harder of the 2 games, and the hardest part of cod2 without doubt isnt the hill, i would say the first section of d-day jst after the cliff as its an open battlefield with not much to hide from and mg42s everywhere.

i did the easier levels first and left the last stage of the hill and the first stage of d-day till last, although i really struggled with d-day, i did it on easy first so i could map out my route.

u will die a major amount of times, and checkpoints are key to this game, there are a lot on the hill, but on d-day it takes ages to get a checkpoint after the cliff part.

but its still a great game which i got from argos new as part of 2 games for £35.

shame cod3 has a lot of online achievements as i would have liked to get my hat-trick.

I've said it before and i'll say it again :)

... I bought my console purely for COD2 its that good!!

Online play is amazing, but limited now that there are a lot less players.

I'd say if youve played cod4 and none of the others no. 2 will probably be your favourite from the older versions....even online no.4 is more like no.2 than no.3.....I love 3 online still and 2 has some great maps....but 4 is the best ;-)
