    Hi,
I thought I would try to do some calibration today after having my set for about a week now. I only have thw NTSC version of Avia so I thought I would try the THX Optimiser on Monsters Inc.

While adjusting the constrast usin gthe 8 white boxes even with the constrast on full the boxes did not lose their definition.

So my question is, how do you set the constrast?

    Cheers

    Paulh.

Can you notice any difference when watching it?

    Hi Horribleman,
I have the constrast set at 75, I have not changed this as whether you put it up to 100 or down to 0 you can still see the 8 boxes.

This makes me think whats the point of having the option of constrast on the set if it does not make that much of a difference?

    Cheers

    Paulh.
