Hi chaps, Bought the DVE (Digital Video Essentials) dvd knowing it is supposed to be the best thing for self-calibrating my pio plasma. Unfortunately I did not realised the whole thing is narrated - I am deaf and there are no subtitles So, I have absolutely no idea how I am supposed to use all the test charts etc. I am planning to get someone out to calibrate my screen professionally but I have been advised it's best to wait until I have at least 100 viewing hours. In the meantime, I need some basic calibration so I won't burn out the screen...! I have switched my plasma to power save mode, but I am concerned that it is over-bright and over-contrast (as I understand it, they usually come this way ) Is a transcript or written instructions available on the net, or alternatively is there another calibration disc/program which has step-by-step visible instructions? I have the Star Wars II - Attack of the Clones DVD which has a THX picture calibration program, but I am not convinced it is any good. Many thanks in advance, Mat.
