I looked at buying one of these but was put off by the adverse reaction on these very forums and elsewhere about the android os which on a good day was said to be awful. As an owner how would you honestly say it works or doesn't Thanks

Im not going to lie, as I want to be an honest seller.

The android OS isnt the best on the market.

One work around with the android is if you had SKY/BT as your main go to for watching TV broadcast.

I dont have SKY or BT myself and it all works fine its just a tad slow at loading TV guide. In general the best way to explain is its slow which some people may not like. I just got use to it.
At the end of the day no TV is perfect and this maybe a sticking point for some people.

But thats the only bad point in my opinion,

The overall picture quality, upscaling, motion control, smoothing out banding and near black performance is some of the best on the market.

4K HDR look outstanding, especially now the set is calibrated.

The acoustic sound surface is without a doubt the best in built speaker on a tv in my opinion.
Honestly doesnt need a sound bar for films.

Any other questions feel free to ask.

    Hi boysie90,
Looking at buying a 65” oled and the Sony does look quite nice. Asking price is out of my budget but could offer you £1600 if your interested.

    Thanks
    Bubs

Whats the uniformity like on this panel? Very interested in it but would like to know of any tint or banding issues before I put in a offer

Uniformity is fine. No tint to my eyes and no banding issues.
Its one of the only tvs iv had that has has no banding on content. Guess thats a Sony perk.

Hi, just looked at this now.
I can also do £1700 providing you can ship to Datchet (SL3 9NJ)
Hoping you still have all original packaging and subject to transferable Warranty.

    Cheers
