Ouch. I’m sorry, I’ve been absent from the forum as I caught covid and it knocked me sideways a bit. Am back on my feet now, much better and the TV is still for sale.

Apologies for the unintended delay in responding!

If anyone is still interested, please let me know.

I’ll reinstate my offer of £800 as not found anything else yet.

Just to confirm,

It has 19 months John Lewis Warranty that can be transferred.

It has no screen burn/retention issues.

Comes with Stand and magic remote.

It is in full working order.

Collection may to be arranged but may be weekend of 30th-31st Oct.

Thanks

Great!

Let me address your points:

  • It has 18 months John Lewis Warranty that can be transferred (since purchased April 2018)
  • It has no screen burn/retention issues.
  • It is installed on a different (better imo) stand right now, but I can still supply with original stand if preferred. It also comes with magic remote.
  • It is in full working order.

Happy for you to pick up on that weekend :)

Cheers

Thanks, would be good to see the different stands as this will be used in a temp set up (whilst having building work done) with a soundbar in front so some stands are better than others in this situation.

Let’s take to PM

Hi Richard,

Sale still ongoing; it’s just been delayed due to Covid complications. If the sale falls through, I’ll let you know.

Mods, I’ve hit a bit of an issue. My TV, which hasn’t been used now for months, has developed a fault. It doesn’t want to switch on. Not sure what the cause is, certainly nothing simple like a plug fuse. It’s been 100% perfect since I bought it, and was fine when I checked it last (before advertising on this board, which I have to admit was a while ago and before I moved house).

Pretty shocked tbh. I’m going to reach out to JL tomorrow to get it looked at. Have also informed - and apologised to - the intended buyer. Hopefully it’s something that can easily be resolved.

Just to say I am happy to wait and see what happens with the warranty and repair.
