Calibrate TV using WDTV?

Hey guys I got a new plasma and I'm wondering if it's possible to calibrate it using my WDTV? I figured there must be some software or something that I can download to it, run it from the WDTV and it will go through some color calibration, etc?

I guess this is like running a Blu-Ray config disc but I dont have a blu-ray player or a dvd player at the moment

Google for the AVSHD test disc. It is downloadable as MP4 files which you can play through the WDTV or similar.

You will be able to set the basic settings (contrast, brightness, sharpness, etc) with the AVS HD patterns - but you will need additional equipment to calibrate colour and some of the other advanced settings accurately.
