I'm going to move into a new house in about a month. Now I'm looking at the required cabling so that everything is setup when I relocate.

Where I'm stuck right now is preparing for a video projector... I will most probably buy a projector within the next year (currently looking at the Hitachi PJ-TX100) but I want the cabling to be ready now.

So HDMI is probably the best bet going forward, not more expensive than DVI-D but with more options.
But since I do not have any devices yet I would like to have sockets installed instead of cables hanging from the ceiling... is this possible?
I thought HDMI is just a 19wire cable, but I haven't found any specifications what cable would be required or sockets without attached cables at all.

    Best regards,
