Ive recently completed my home cinema setup in my bedroom it consists of the:
    Philips 23 PF9945 lcd tv
    Denon AVR 1905 reciever
    Toshiba Sd340e dvd player
    Sky + box
    scandayna micropod 5.1 system

Could somebody please give me advice on the best cables to use but not too expensive.
also could somebody help with the problem of connecting my sky + and dvd to my tv because it only has 1 RGB scart.
Thanks and advice would be grateful.

I can help with the scart problem.
Does your player have component out?
Does Sky + have component out.
If so you could go component thought the amp then use a component to RGB convertor into the scart on the TV.

You could use a JS Technology Master Scart Controller, or similar, to give another RGB scart socket. I have one and I'm very happy with its performance - zero intervention on my part as it all automatic and no detrimental effect on the picture quality. Cheaper than a component to RGB convertor as well.
