Help....have done a dry run of cabling on my system before I move...been in boxes for few weeks, and have hit a MASSIVE problem. Audio is sorted but visually i cannot get it to work. Here's the problem (by the way have looked through forum and drawn loads of diagrams but failed)

    OUTPUT
    28" WIDESCREEN (2 SCARTS) Infocus Screenplay 4805

    SOURCE
DVD (DENON2200) Output to both displays
Video (2 scarts) Output to both displays (PLAY only no recording needed)
    PS2 Output to both displays
SKY+ digibox Output to both devices
Laptop Output to both devices (has s-video output)

AV AMP Denon 2803 (2 component in 1 component out)

all audio optically connected dvd connected via coax

Once again I have checked forum but am struggling please can you help :smashin: and yes have rtfm

You seem to have more 'sources' than 'destinations' 10 (2 per box) -> ?
Have you checked the video modes match: s-video -> s-video, RGB -> RGB.
Composite is usually available alongside RGB but I'm not sure about with s-video.

while i would prefer NOT to use the av amp for video there is definitely no other way round.......i can probably put video through sky digibox and possibly ps2 into amp and back out - laptop can go to amp via s video but my major problem is 1 component out and 2 display devices.....the other output is s video so how do i watch all the sources on both screens (not at same time)

The problem I have is how you manage to connect 5 source devices to 2 displays, one of which has 2 scarts, other not specified.
I would think you need a scart switchbox of some sort with a number of inputs and two outputs.
Also you need to have the same sort of signals from the sources (s or RGB or composite) routed to single scarts.
Most scart inputs are RGB+composite or s-video+composite. They will switch automatically to the 'best available' signal on some TVs, but may need specific selection on others, Outputs always have to be specified on source devices unless there are no options.

    dvd - 1 scart 2 component
    video - 2 scarts
ps2 - either scart or svideo
    sky+digibox - 2 scarts
    laptop - svideo

everything i think will need to go through AV amp myt initial thought was

    video to sky with scart
sky to av amp with scart to svideo
    laptop to av amp svideo
ps2 to av amp with svideo
    dvd to tv with scart
    dvd to amp - component
    av amp to projector component
av amp to tv via svideo

this was my latest idea but is there a better way????
have loads of svideo connections on av amp and 2 component ins on amp
