    Hello All,

I'm new to this forum, but have been reading it for the past few weeks with great interest.

With all you experts out there I was wondering if you could help me?

I have a New Panasonic Plasma TV TH37PE30B, I have an old Sony DVD Player DVP-S336 and a NTL Cable box and also in the process of purchasing an all in one Home Cinema system.

The advice i need is how to connect them all up?

    The back of the TV:

    Component Video Input
    AV4C: RCA phono type x 3 (Y, PB(CB), PR(CR)) (rear)

    Audio Input (for Component Video)
    Co-use with AV4 21-pin In

    21-pin Input/Output
    AV1: AV In, TV out, RGB In (rear) / AV2: AV In/Out, S-Video In, Q-Link (rear) / AV4: AV In/Out, S-Video/RGB In, Q-Link (rear)

    Audio Output
RCA phono type connectors (L, R) (1 set, rear), Headphone jack (1, front)

The back of the DVD player:

    Audio Out
    Woofer R&L
    Digital Out
    Coaxial Out
    Scart RGB-TV
    Video Out
    S-Video Out

    The Back of the Cable-Box:

    TV & Antenna
    Audio R&L
    Scart VCR
    Scart TV
    IR Blaster OUT
    IR Remote IN
    Cable IN

What would be the best cables to purchase?

Also should I purchase an "All-in one home cinema" system with component connections? any recommendations - my budget is around £400-£500.

I have pictures of the back of the Plasma TV and the DVD player, but I don't know how to upload them into this thread - so if anyone is interested i can email them to you.

Your advice would be greatly appreciated!
