    dilemma

I want to install a new surround system....and am thinking KEF eggs for the speakers - but due to the shape of my room it could look very very messy with shed loads of cabling running around.

I could chase it in to the walls, but don't want to re-decorate just yet

Does anyone have any ideas to make it look far less messy, or is there a simple alternative...such as infra-red rears, as offered by Sony?

Thin cables could go under the carpet, side by side if needs be. Where there were too many or thicker cables, I used some plastic electrical box trunking and fixed it to the skirting board using velcro.
