    Hi

I'm thinking about buying the Tosh 36ZP38 to use with my xbox for games/movie playback. I would like to use the xbox prog scan mode if possible. I've seen the x2vga cable (www.x2vga.com) which seems to be what I need, and some circuit diagrams for diy cables. The x2vga cable is a bit pricey, do I reallly need it? What cables are other forum members using for this?

Also, does anyone know if lightgun games will work with this TV?

    Cheers

I got the official Hi Def pack from the US, which came to a little over a 12 quid with the exchange rate as it was. Light gun games don't work well at all I'm afraid, I'm guessing due to the wide screen, but I don't really know. I haven't tried playing one with the TV in 4:3 mode as it would mean turning the prog scan off.
