I am a complete newbie for this sort of thing, do I need 5 single phono to phono cables for connecting a poweramp to a processor?

    Front Left
    Front Right
    Centre
    Rear Left
    Rear Right

From the 5.1 analog output to the 5 inputs on the poweramp?

Or would a stereo 2 phono to 2 phono work for 2 sets at once?

    Cheers Everyone

You need 5 interconnects (for 5 channels). If two of them are stereo plus one individual cable or 5 indivifual cables does not make a difference.
