    Hi,

Having read all the great threads on Panny v Tosh v Phillips etc, I have chosen and ordered the 36" PD30...very excited...expecting delivery next 7-14 days. NOW down to cables!!! What are experiences regarding cheap and cheerfull scart v Expensive Gold scart etc etc . How much do I need to spend (if anything) to get a NOTICABLE improvment???

    Thanks.

depends what's on the other end of the cable
If your getting a poor signal at source you'll get a poor display regardless of what cable you use

There is a noticeable improvement in picture quality when using £30+ scart cables as opposed to £9.99 cables. But remember to check the other stuff - like changing your digital cable to an RGB signal etc etc. Each of these things will up the picture quality to the best that your shiny new TV has to offer.
