Was wondering if its better to run direct from device (LaserDisc,Sky+,Video Recorder) to Projector (AE700). Or...does using the amp as a switch box keep signal in A1 condition saving on long cables to my projector 10m.

Theoretically a direct connection is better but in most cases you would not notice any degradation if you connect via the AV amp/receiver.
